Do you have Linkedin? Yeah, most people don’t. It is fine. If Myspace was for high school kids and Facebook was for college students. Linkedin was for your rich uncle that no one likes.
Linkedin is probably the social media site, that has never really lived up to its purpose. Don’t get me wrong, it is getting there. However, not fast enough.
Aside from having a Linkedin page, the real purpose of it is actual networking. Not social networking, as in, showing cat pictures to each other; REAL BUSINESS networking.
Even as I type this I am bored, but I can hope you can endure.
Linkedin’s sole purpose was a lead generation tool. So if you are working B2B, you have a ton of people at your fingertips AND the industry they serve. If you work for MLM (satan) then you know exactly when people don’t have jobs. If you work for HR you are able to snatch up well-qualified candidates with just a few clicks.
But Drew?!?!?!? Sending all of those Linkedin messages are annoying, and time-consuming, isn’t there a way I could just email all of those people?
Glad you asked! Becoming the most annoying person on Linkedin is easy!
Becoming Annoying on Linkedin
Well, you aren’t really becoming annoying on Linkedin, you are actually using Linkedin to become annoying.
Linkedin is the only social media platform that lets you export all of the email address of your connections. Once you have their email addresses what do you do?
Email them (don’t spam) you can send them personal emails.
You can also find them on Facebook now because you have their email address…. but don’t get any big ideas!
Now that you are around the direct message limit on Linkedin the possibilities are endlessly annoying.
To export, all of these folks to a CSV go to my connections. Once on the page, you will see a gear icon on the top right of the page. Look for the export option now under the advanced settings, and bippity boppity boo…. you can now be super annoying!!!!
