I struggle with writing things that have already been written. When I was writing only about wealth and health, it was tougher. There is only so much you can learn before action has to be your next step.
I had a conversation with someone I consider to be a mentor, and we were looking at several books, the funny part he and I had read most all of the same books.
Just so we are on the same page and you can completely understand what I am talking about, I thought I would put together a list of books I thought you really need to read.
Books to Read:
Just to be honest, I never got it. Everyone recommended it to me, and I thought they were crazy, but you need to read it. Then re-read it, and eventually it will hit you what this is about.
If you are going to be smart with your money, you are going to do stupid things with it, but oddly enough, it attracts more money. You learn, and it grows.
This book is older, and a bit cheesy. It is however, the book that changed my life the most. It is very easy to read, and a great experience. However, there is homework with it, so don’t think you are just going to read.
Another book that had a huge impact on my life. You have to understand that success is attainable before you will ever be able to get it.
If there is a book that got me into fitness, this would be it. The diet is great, the workout is awesome, and it is easy to follow.
5. Born to Win
I can quote this book. Seriously…. the entire series. Zig Ziglar recommends to review any of his works 16 times. I am on my 20th to 30th pass right now. I know all the jokes, the stories, and anything else you can imagine. After Unlimited Power, this was my second discovery.
You need to make one solid pass through all of these books once, and take notes. Then after that you will have reference points to re-read the highlights. Treat it like homework. You have to do it daily before it impacts you.
