Everyone could agree that we need someone that actually represents the average Alabamian for the Governor of the State of Alabama. Well, I can assure you I am just like the average Alabamian.
I am sure many of you can relate.
However, what does this have to do with our past? Typically in the state, we haven’t had a good pool of candidates to choose from to elect, and thus we have had our fair share of Governors of this fine state, that have been let’s just say… duds.
Obviously, I can only speak from my past, and I am well aware I am young to be taking on this task, but in the past, we can just say… we haven’t had great leadership.
So, I will break it down a bit.
What has our passed looked like?
Again looking back at my life our governors could best have been described as: an adulterer, an idiot that cares nothing for state workers, a criminal, a football player, the one that did nothing, another criminal, and a racist.
I have no qualms with pointing out my own faults. So let me explain:
No political experience
Is this really important? We complain about politicians, then go elect more politicians. Here is my goal. I will be the Governor of the State of Alabama. Then after I prove how well I can change Alabama, I will run for President. Pretty open door. You know what to expect. After that, I will be a consultant and show future leaders how to lead as effectively.
Some say I am overly confident, but if you don’t believe in yourself you will never effectively lead anyone. I will make mistakes, and I have been wrong. I am not perfect, but neither are you.
Not a lawyer
I have taken course work in a few law classes. I don’t want to be a lawyer. We all talk bad about lawyers. Not all are bad, I have friends that are lawyers! However, there are some bad apples in that bunch, that has ruined it for everyone.
I am honest. Politicians get elected on lies. I don’t plan to be elected that way. End of story.
I plan to have my agenda published for everyone to see it. If I could have a camera videoing me 24/7 like a reality tv show I would. Because I want the people of Alabama to know their governor is working for them.
