Do you know where you came from? Are you the things that legends are made of? Do you have any idea where you will fit in the history books?
After a little research, I know that I am a god among men!
How I became a god among men
I know this sounds way more egotistical than I probably want it to. (or maybe that is what I was going for)
From legend, Odin of Asgard was the father of Thor (one could argue the accuracy of this statement due to a king several years before that ruled Denmark with a similar name…) Well apparently Odin had another son.
Skjold Odinson that had a son named Fridleif Skjoldsson, whose son was King Fróði “the Valiant”. His son was Fridleif Frodasson. Then Haver, next came Frodi Havarsson, and then Vermund the Sage. Olaf next then Dan Olafsson. After that Frodi the third, King of Denmark. Sigris’ husband Halfdan was next, then came the next Olaf that was the king of Denmark.
We have a long way to go. Next in line was the Jarl of Vilgunmork, and then Gandolf Alfgeirsson King of Norway. Sigurd “the Ring” was the next one and of course Ragnar Lodbrok (Sigurdsson).
Sigurd Snake in Eye was his son and Harde Knud was his son. This is around the time of the unification of the Saxons and the kingdom of Denmark, when Geva was king and Thyre was queen. Harold Herbastus de Crepon was their son and Richard of Normandy was his son.
The Good King
Richard the 2nd was next and he was called “the Good.” Next on the family tree was Robert I the Duke of Normandy. His son was the one that united the kingdoms and was King William the Conqueror. (The guy that King Arthur was based on.) This was the point that the Norse religion died and people were no longer marked as being “demi-gods” from this blood line. Too bad for me I guess.
The Saxon Maud (one of Williams “wives”) had a son named Guillaume, and he had a son named William the younger. Then came Robert and Adelicia getting married only to have Alice, who married Baron Hamon. Sir Gilbert the Baron then had Sir Hamon de Peche Bourne (obviously from the house of Bourne)
Next was the next Gilbert Peche, and John Peche… and another John Peche (III) his daughter Margaret married John, who had Idena, and she had William Cornish, who had Mary Elizabeth Cornish, and married Ralph Josselyn, their daughter Agnes Josselyn married John Wood, who had Robert Wood, their son was name John as well, then their daughter was name Mary who married a platt, and had a daughter named Sarah. Sarah married back into royalty, by marrying Thomas Beach, they had John Beach, who married Mary Royce, and they had Lettice Beach, who had Ambrose Ward, who had William Ward.
Move Across the Pond
William had James Henry and then next came Eliza who married Henry Thompson, and their daughter married Benjamin R Tingle. Ben’s son James married Phoebe Hallman. But James and Phoebe had a daughter named Retha, and Retha, had a daughter named Patricia.
The god Among Men
Then Patricia had 5 kids, but the best was the last, and that was me!
