There you have it… I have officially sold my soul. I am writing about how to make money online. Obviously, if you have been to my blog more than once, you have probably discovered I hint at it a lot, but I have never revealed my secrets… until now.
The first key is to say something on your Facebook page about how your secrets are now revealed. Seriously though, you do have to have a hook, but don’t go cheesy. The cheesy people aren’t actually making money… unless you specialize in cheese.
How To Make Money
You make money by getting money from someone else. It is really that easy. You trade goods and/or services, for money. If you weren’t aware of this you are now. So let’s just assume you knew that, and move on.
Start a website
You have to have a website. I own… well, honestly, that depends on the day of the week. Currently, I have this site.
I have a website for 1 reason. Because it is awesome!
People always talk about a following, and followers, niches and blah blah blah. This is all a ruse. People will follow you on Twitter, and Facebook. George Takei makes more money off of social media than probably any other person on the planet. How does he do it? Well, a following, a raunchy catchphrase (follow the link above) and this not-so-secret.
Become an Affiliate
You need a good and/or service remember? You can become an affiliate. Someone like George Takei finds silly products, comments on them, then sends a link to the Amazon product. You are now on Amazon…. why not shop?
Here is the perfect example… I posted a link to something on Facebook, I don’t even know what it was. Probably a book. Well someone clicked the link, then within a few hours bought something completely different. I recommend a book, they buy a light bulb… I still make the money. That is why you don’t need a website to be an affiliate, you just need people that like you, to follow you. Sometimes they don’t even have to know you… like on Twitter.
Have a service?
Are you good at something? Sell a cheap virtual version of it on Fiverr…. or an expensive version of your real service as an “upgrade.”
Fiverr has everything. I think I sell stuff on there… I haven’t logged in, in so long I probably don’t anymore. But you can make a job out of it. This is obviously entry level, spare time stuff, but you can find other services once you have a portfolio to do it Full-time.
I wrote a book… you should buy it. Then you go make yourself one. If you need help publishing it. Email me Drew@drewtolbert.com. I will help you publish it. We will get it on Amazon, and BOOM! You have a product to sell. My favorite thing about the book, is you can literally write it about anything.
Proof you can write about anything:
Of course, there are other ways to do it, and I will outline those later, but for now.
