I told you in my last post it was coming. I am giving away LOADS of information absolutely free on my website. I have seen some of these “books” online for as much as $99.99. I have obtained full rights to them so you can get them here for no charge at all. I am also working on the same right with a few video products as we speak. I hope you enjoy.
Notes from Making $1,000 a Week on eBay
All of my comments will be in regular type (Mostly Bold)… the excerpts will be italicized.
One of the hardest things to get to grips with when you start out on your Internet marketing career is that money is quite easy to come by if you put your mind to it.
As workers, we’re told from an early age that we must work for our money (I am certain I told you that here) and that hard work equates to financial reward. Rubbish. Complete and utter rubbish.
How long would it take you to raise a thousand dollars now? I’ve mentioned in previous books how I’ve seen grown men in tears because they needed a little extra cash and couldn’t conceive how they would get it. To them, an extra thousand dollars might as well be an extra ten million!
So would you have to work overtime for a month of two? Would you have to max out your credit card or go cap in hand to the bank?
Listen – a thousand Dollars in small change compared to the money you could make from Internet Marketing and Joint Ventures. Please, keep in mind the author of this is building hype. This book was probably a trip wire to get you to purchase more. I’m going to show you how you can bring in over a thousand Dollars time after time in around 2 days – maybe 2 weeks if you’re starting from absolute scratch and need a little preparation work.
Please let me explain…….
A little while ago I sent an email to an eBay seller. It was a very informal email. It started with the word ‘Hiya’
The email is an image I don’t wish to include… but the gist is them leveraging their email list to help someone sell their product on eBay… Think I have a list you have a product… let’s partner up.
The real question I have is, how many of this type of transaction could we make in everyday life. I have this skill you have that… let’s partner up.
So my new eBay seller friend replied and we quickly sorted out a 50-50 split on a deal and I spent an hour or so writing another email. I also set a few other things up – a website, Paypal button, and a download page – took another couple of hours.
Now I wrote the second email out to a list of people I had recently amassed from eBay. I clicked the ‘send’ button then went upstairs to the kitchen (my home is over four floors). (More obvious puffery from the author). I poured myself a chilly glass of wine (because only rich people do that) then came back down to my PC and opened my email software so I could watch the emails that I was now expecting to come in, in real-time.
My Final Thoughts
Basically, I don’t like to put garbage on my blog… so the rest of this chapter will be omitted. It was screen shots of all the payments they received. Also how they were nervous after the first 20 minutes they didn’t have anything in their inbox. I think this paranoia must have been from all of the wine they were drinking.
So, I will continue the high points in another post. I know I have made fun of a lot of this book, but there are some good points. The image this person is painting: A 4-floor house, where you drink wine, emails in 20 minutes, $1,000 is small change. Note that image. This is very much so not practical advice. I give practical advice. This is gamesmanship.
If there was a takeaway from this, it is literally the one sentence that described perfectly a post I had previously written. Until next time….
