Perfect posture is almost dead. As I write this I am practically laying down, and that posture is only slightly better than most. Most people have tight shoulders because they hunch over the keyboard all day. Being the youngest of 5 kids, I always made fun of my older siblings because of their issues with “getting old.” They would have hurt backs or shoulders.
I quickly realized that I got to that age, and started having aches and pains. Getting out of bed sometimes sounded like a bowl of Rice Krispies (snap, crackle, pop.)
The bad part about it… I am flexible, and I have fairly decent posture. I will admit, the posture has gotten better since I lost some weight and started exercising.
Fix Tight Shoulders
You have to loosen up. No I am not saying that you have to be more laid back. I am saying the same repetitive motion over and over is going to destroy your back. Simply put, you sit too much and your shoulders are rounding because of it.
Stretching is the only cure.
You can’t find a job these days that doesn’t involve a computer, unless it is manual labor (which may actually be worse). With that being said there are solutions to the problem.
I am very flexible, but I am no Yogi. So rather than me posting any painful to watch videos on youtube I found the solution to shoulder tightness.
This shoulder flexibility system, will improve range of motion, and lessen the risk of injury. Sadly, most people think shoulder injury is for people that play sports. Here is the deal though, as you age, you will have injury in one of two places, lower back, or upper back (shoulders).
Why do you think most people like for their shoulder to be rubbed? It is because we carry entirely too much tension in them.
