Great news!!! The Tolbert 2018 campaign is officially on Wikipedia (this is the equivalent of changing your relationship status on Facebook). However, I need some help.
If you have not seen it, you can see it here. Wikipedia has listed me as a potential candidate for the 2018 Alabama Gubernatorial Election.
The first bit of incorrect information on the site is that I am a “potential” candidate. I am not a potential candidate. I have declared that I am running. There is no “test” or “poll” I am running for Governor of Alabama in 2018. I am taking the Cincinnatus approach to government. (don’t worry more on that later)
The site lists me as a potential Republican candidate. That is not the case either. I am not running with any party affiliation. I have made it fairly clear. Just because I am pro-life and pro-second amendment does not mean I am Republican. Just because I am a strong supporter in education relief (don’t worry more on that later) doesn’t mean I am a Democrat. I believe in a set of beliefs. You don’t have to always agree with me. I am actually OK with that and respect individuality. Something neither side is great with.
Unfortunately, due to Wikipedia’s standards, I cannot personally make the corrections. I would LOVE if someone would make these corrections. You can even cite this site as the source. (cite this site… sounds funny)
If anyone wants to get updated information that would be awesome!
Currently, I don’t have a personal page on Wikipedia. If you or anyone you know edits Wikipedia feel free to create a page using the information on this site and my personal website Drew Tolbert (dot) Com.
The information was removed from Wikipedia… unfortunately an update has not been made to the site to include me!
Thank you for your continued support,
