I am not sure how closely you follow the Secretary of State filings at alabamavotes.gov, but if you have had a chance to look… you will see this guy that is most unbeknown to the political landscape named Andrew Tolbert. And best of all he is running without any political affiliation.
AL.com also keeps an updated list of all of the political activities… who says they are running and who isn’t running. For example, they posted an article about Del Marsh not running if Ivey runs. Which if Ivey runs, I would assume that this list of Republicans will get smaller.
The main reason I mention this article is that of what I found while browsing it. I found the list at the bottom with my name on it. (You can read the article here)
The article is pretty much what I expected it to be when I wrote my post about Ivey. The Republicans need her to run for (re)election.
That isn’t the point of this at all though. Go ahead read down to the bottom of that article… Here it is for those of you that can’t wait.
There you have it! A media source and a filing with the secretary of state. I am pretty much official now. If you haven’t guessed it, I will give away the big secret…
Drew Tolbert… from Drew Tolbert (dot) Com… is Andrew Tolbert, and I am officially running for Governor.
Let’s just assume this is the first post you have read by me… so where do you start?
I would probably read a list of why you should vote for me.
If you haven’t registered to vote yet… you can read/watch about that here.
If you were curious to know why I am not running as a Republican or Democrat… you can read that here.
As always thank you for your continued support,
Andrew Tolbert (Drew Tolbert)
